Health and Safety

We want to keep you safe, healthy and ready to face any big challenges that come your way. Your wellbeing is our utmost priority here at ALLY, and we want to make sure our studio is as safe as possible when you are here. As part of our resilience towards COVID-19, we’ve reviewed and updated our health and safety standards with guidance from local health officials. Added safety measures are put in place with the wellbeing of our team and community in mind.

TRAINING WHILE PREGNANT OR JUST HAD A BABY

First off, CONGRATULATIONS!

We strongly recommend that you speak to your doctor about what is appropriate for you before commencing any type of exercise. This is particularly important for high intensity sessions such as our cycle classes. Everyone is different, and details of pregnancy differ. Do let your doctor know about what ALLY classes entails.

If you get the go ahead, choose an appropriate session that is reasonable for you and make sure you let your instructor and friendly front desk team know at the start of each session so we can take good care of you in class.

For mamas-to-be, we will offer you an option to freeze your membership for the duration of your pregnancy. When you are ready to come back to class postpartum, call us at +65 6518 9588 or an email at reach@ally.family to reactivate your membership.

TRAINING WITH AN EXISTING INJURY OR RECOVERING FROM AN INJURY

We strongly recommend that you speak to your doctor about what is appropriate for you before commencing any type of exercise. It all depends on what it is and its severity. If you’re unsure, drop us a line before booking and one of our trainers can advise. We recommend letting your trainer know at the start of every session if you have an injury or are concerned about something, as they will be able to provide relevant modifications throughout.

CLEANLINESS IN THE STUDIO

Below are just some of the ways we are working to ensure every visit to ALLY is enjoyed safely. We will constantly be reviewing guidance on capacity and processes and will post the latest updates on this page and on our social media accounts.

Our ALLY studio and instructor team

  • Only fully vaccinated staff and instructors are on schedule.
  • Extensive staff training to ensure hygiene standards and health and safety protocols are maintained at all times

In the studio

  • Anti-bacterial wipes and hand sanitiser will continue to be available around the studios
  • New clean masks will be provided upon request at the reception.
  • We politely ask you to continue to be considerate to others when in our studios, and maintain a safe distance as much as possible.
  • All cycle shoes are disinfected in our UV ozone disinfectant machine before handing them to you for your use. Cycle shoes are rotated after each use and no same pair will be used in back-to-back classes.
  • The studio is fitted with a clean air filtration AC system for better air quality.
  • All cycle bikes and hand weights are disinfected and cleaned after each class
  • All purchase transactions at the reception and neighborhood bar are cashless.

Showers

  • All shower rooms are sprayed down at regular intervals after every class.
