Our hot and cold therapy has been designed to impart an enduring sense of stillness, connection, and harmony within the ALLY recovery suite. Descend into our glass-encased infrared sauna, and let the warmth envelop you as you settle in for a few moments of peace. Feel your stresses melt away as the heat relaxes the muscles, reduces tension, and enhances blood circulation.  Complementing this, take a cold water immersion to improve circulation, balance hormones, and fortify the immune system. 

Each session in our Recovery Suite lasts 75 minutes (with a 15 minute briefing included).

INSTRUCTIONS

Infrared Sauna Heating: Infrared saunas use infrared light to heat your body directly, which creates a gentler and more focused warmth compared to traditional saunas. The heat is dry, with no steam or humidity, so it may feel milder than what you experience in a conventional sauna.

Optimal Sauna Temperature: To maximize the therapeutic benefits, the sauna temperature should be both comfortable and relaxing. Typically, the heat ranges from 45 to 55°C, allowing you to breathe easily and enjoy the session.

Keep the Infrared Sauna Door Closed: For the sauna to maintain the desired heat, it’s essential to keep the door closed throughout your session. Repeatedly opening the door can cause the infrared system to lose heat, diminishing the effectiveness of your experience. Ensure the door remains closed or is promptly closed each time you exit.

Time Recommendations: Start with 10-15 minutes in the infrared sauna, gradually increasing the duration as your body adapts to the heat. You can enjoy this experience on its own or pair it with a session in our Cold Water Immersion Tub for a balanced and invigorating treatment.

INSTRUCTIONS

We recommend taking a few separate 2 to 5-minute dips during your treatment time. Enjoy as a standalone service or in addition to our Infrared Sauna.

  • Prepare Your Mind for a Unique Physical Challenge: Engage mentally before beginning your infrared sauna and cold tub session to ensure you’re ready for the intense, yet invigorating experience.

  • Respect Your Limits: Avoid staying in the cold tub longer than recommended. Overexposure can lead to shock or hypothermia, so always prioritize your safety.

  • Focus on Controlled Breathing: Practice slow, deep breaths throughout the process. Inhale deeply through your nose to fill your lungs, then exhale slowly through your mouth to help your body stay calm and balanced.

INSTRUCTIONS

Before your first Contrast Therapy Session:

  • Enter the Infrared Sauna for 10 to 15 minutes
  • Exit and take a breather for 1 to 2 minutes
  • Rinse in the cold water shower for 1 to 2 minutes
  • Submerge in the cold tub for 30 seconds to 3 minutes
  • Repeat for 2 to 3 sets
