OPERATIONS

STUDIO MANAGER

The Studio Manager role is ultimately accountable for every aspect of the business – people, customer service, product, operations, hiring, business development, business performance and profitability, as well as corporate outreach. As one of the key roles in the business, you will work closely with other department managers, as well as the Studio Director to ensure a successful operation.

Our ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service and communication skills, able to thrive in a team-oriented environment and have an infectious passion for fitness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the day-to-day leader for all supervisors and front of house crew, leading by example and in alignment with our mission, vision, and values, and accountable for their overall performance.
  • Operations: Manage the day to day operations of the studio and ensuring the studio delivers operating excellence
  • Customer Service: Review FOH staff and to ensure everything runs effectively and efficiently. Ensure a top level of hospitality and customer service is upheld in the studio.
  • Business performance: Lead & manage the overall business and team to deliver specific KPIs & budgets
  • Sales  &  Business  Development:  Develop  the  business  actively  by  building  strong  relationships  with members and build new lead generation plan and identify new business opportunities
  • Finance: Manage studio accounting needs and coordinate with the finance team to manage any salary payment or cash flows.
  • Admin: Studio administrative work including scheduling of front of house team, procurement of logistics, handling of company cheque and claims. Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible.
  • People management: Identify and plan recruitment of potential candidates to join the family.
  • Inventory management: Assist with inventory stock and reorder of inventory when it drops to a specified level.
  • Culture: Manage staff welfare, morale and drive of the studio team.
  • Relationships management: Manage and coordinate vendor relationships including sourcing and shortlist of vendors and procurement

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ year of proven ability of leading people and managing a team
  • Good leadership with successful track record of developing people and spotting talent
  • Excellent knowledge of industry and operational challenges.
  • Good communication skills with all levels of the business.
  • Strong desire and ability to motivate and inspire people and teams.
  • Clear, logical thinker with high standards and ability in getting the basics right.
  • Local knowledge and experience and/or cultural sensitivity.
  • Analytical and having great foresight in business and sales
  • Creative thinker and strategist in improving business performance
