INSTRUCTORS

RIDE (FULL-TIME/PART-TIME)

Full-timers are expected to teach at least 40 classes monthly, with at least 1 day on the weekend. Part-timers are expected to teach at least 12 classes monthly, with at least 1 day on the weekend, or both weekends if weekdays are unavailable. All new hires must be able to work with a flexible teaching schedule, including teaching during off-peak hours.

STUDIO OPERATIONS

BAR MANAGER (FULL-TIME)

Overview

The Bar Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the bar areas within ALLY Singapore. Our ideal candidate will have extensive hospitality experience, be highly organized, and possess good communication skills and excellent leadership skills to ensure smooth service delivery, an exceptional guest experience, and meet business targets. This role will also involve managing a team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance, as well as managing budgets and inventory. As one of the critical roles in the business, you will work closely with other managers to ensure consistency and targets are met and that multiple departments run smoothly for a successful bar operation. Candidates with prior experience working in F&B or similar establishments or as a barista are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Bar Operations:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Bar, leading by example and alignment with our mission, vision, and values, and being accountable for their overall performance.
  • Ensure upkeep of bar inventory stock, purchasing and ordering of products, and assessing business operations when inventory drops to a specified level.
  • Solicits member feedback and identifies improvement goals to meet members’ needs, resolve problems, and generate new ideas for programs and services to maintain member satisfaction. 
  • Ensure all food and beverage items are prepared and presented in line with company standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and surrounding areas.

People Management:

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of bar staff, ensuring consistent delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Manage and coordinate vendor relationships including sourcing and shortlisting vendors.

​​Training and Development:

  • Develop and conduct training for new and existing staff members, ensuring they are familiar with service standards and safety regulations.
  • Review staff and business to ensure top operations and service standards are met.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and follow-through to drive morale, engagement, confidence, and high energy of the Bar team.
  • Focusing on the innovation, testing, and improvement of coffee-related products and techniques.

Working hours

You must be able to work non-traditional hours and adapt based on business needs and operating hours including early morning and late evenings, weekends, and holidays. You must be able to commit 5 days a week a minimum of 44 hours a week. The job entails on-ground shifts, as well as, office days. 

ASSISTANT STUDIO MANAGER (FULL-TIME)

Overview

The Assistant Studio Manager is ultimately accountable for every aspect of the business from studio operations, customer service, member experience, community, business performance, and profitability. As one of the critical roles in the business, you will work closely with other managers to ensure consistency and targets are met and that multiple departments run smoothly for a successful studio operation. Our ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service and communication skills, thrive in a team-oriented environment, and have an infectious passion for fitness.

Key Responsibilities

Studio Operations:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the studio and ensure the studio delivers operating excellence, and upkeep the team with knowledge of studio programs, products & services, promotions, and SOPs
  • Ensure upkeep of front-of-house and bar inventory stock, purchasing and ordering of products, and assessing business operations when inventory drops to a specified level.
  • Deliver quality responses to customer inquiries via all channels. 

Member Experience 

  • Implements programs and initiatives to engage current and new members and continuously improve their member experience.
  • Solicits member feedback and identifies improvement goals to meet members’ needs, resolve problems, and generate new ideas for programs and services to maintain member satisfaction. 

People Management:

  • Serve as the day-to-day leader for all supervisors, front-of-house crew, and baristas, leading by example and alignment with our mission, vision, and values, and accountable for their overall performance.
  • Manage and coordinate vendor relationships including sourcing and shortlisting vendors.
  • Manage staff welfare, morale, and drive of the employees of ALLY.

Training and Development:

  • Review staff and business to ensure top operations and service standards are met.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and follow-through to drive morale, engagement, confidence, and high energy of the front desk team.

Working hours

You must be able to work non-traditional hours and adapt based on business needs and operating hours including early morning and late evenings, weekends, and holidays. You must be able to commit 5 days a week a minimum of 44 hours a week. The job entails on-ground shifts, as well as, office days.

FRONT-OF-HOUSE (FULL-TIME)

Overview:

As the Front-of-House, you will be the spokesperson of the studio. You’ll provide top-quality customer service and hospitality to every customer that walks through our doors. General duties include checking in members upon arrival and assisting members with class bookings and other queries. You will also assist the Baristas in bar operations during peak hours. We are looking for hard-working, reliable, team-oriented, and forward-thinking individuals with approachable, high-energy, and outgoing personalities. 

  • Provide first-class hospitality to customers at all times
  • Greeting, assisting, checking in customers, answering any customer queries in person or by phone, and working efficiently with business management software to register customers and process payments.
  • Work closely with team members across departments including instructors and bar to ensure exceptional customer experience is delivered.
  • Guide customers about studio offerings, promotions, and special events.
  • Take initiative and be proactive in handling customers and delivering custom solutions to meet
    the client’s needs and requests.
  • Assist studio supervisor with daily studio tasks and other projects when necessary.
  • Assist the bar manager with any operational task when necessary.
  • Full-time front-of-house staff to handle all customer service requests and email responses.

Requirements:

  • Ability to establish and maintain constructive and cooperative long-term interpersonal relationships with clients, peers, and supervisors.

  • Full-time Front-of-House must be available to work 44 hours of scheduled shifts per week.

BARISTA (FULL-TIME)

Overview:
We are searching for an engaging, well-spoken, energetic, and enthusiastic barista who is passionate about food and beverage preparation and education. You will greet customers, answer their questions, take orders, accept payments, and prepare and serve quality food and drinks. As a barista in our studio bar, you will continuously expand your knowledge of food and beverage quality controls, preparation methods, presentation, menu expansion, and inventory management. You will also be tasked with solidifying the foundation of the bar and strategizing how we can attract new customers. You should be committed to providing customers with excellent service. You should also be positive, friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and a fast learner.

  • Provides high-level of coffee service during busy hours, including making a variety of espresso and non-espresso drinks as well as smoothies
  • Preparing and serving simple food items 
  • Answering customers’ questions about menu choices
  • Promoting and recommending menu options to customers
  • Provide first-class hospitality to customers at all times
  • Work closely with team members across departments including instructors and Front-of-House to ensure the exceptional customer experience is delivered.
